Bateria Dział Kozackich
Artyleria kozacka składała się w całości z broni zdobycznej. Na początku powstania było to ledwie kilka lekkich działek - polskich, moskiewskich i przede wszystkim tureckich, zdobytych podczas "chadzek" lub w inny pokrętny sposób. Wraz z każdym zwycięstwem w polu i każdą zdobytą twierdzą było ich coraz więcej. Największą liczbę dział udało się Kozakom zdobyć pod Piławcami, gdzie po ucieczce wojsk koronnych w ich ręce trafiło około 100 dział różnych wagomiarów. Od tego momentu artyleria u Kozaków stała się siłą, z którą wrogowie musieli się liczyć. Kozakom brakowało jednak przeszkolonych i doświadczonych kadr dla artylerii, przez co nie potrafili w pełni wykorzystać zdobycznego arsenału.
