To get the most out of these refillable markers, in combination with contrast-type dipping inks, it is recommended to apply them on light surfaces or directly primed in white, which will allow this type of speedpaint to be stronger and look more intense.

Other denser colors require some dilution and should therefore be used in combination with an acrylic thinner to achieve the right flow for example, a standard acrylic paint should be diluted to at least 50%, while a metallic paint may only need to be diluted to 25%. This flexibility allows the marker to be adapted to different styles and techniques, while always maintaining a consistent and clean line.

To extend the life of the system, refill kits are also available, including replacement tips and internal sponges.
